Liverpool’s newboy and most expensive defender, Virgil van Dijk, needed just the first 90mins of his debut to make an immediate impact.
Dijk was daring throughout the match and he acted like he promised himself a goal on his debut and rightly so, his goal at the tail end of the match gave Liverpool the winner in what is the 230th meting between both sides and the oldest debut in football history.
Not a bad debut!
£75m signing Virgil van Dijk scored the match-winning goal as Liverpool defeated Everton to move into the fourth round of the FA Cup.
