Liverpool have work to do after falling 2–0 to Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night.
Paris Saint-Germain took control of the game in Paris and punished Liverpool with two second-half goals to secure a strong advantage.
Désiré Doué opened the scoring in the 11th minute after his shot took a deflection and looped over goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili. Later, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added the second from close range after a move involving Ousmane Dembélé.

Liverpool struggled to respond and failed to record a single shot on target in the entire match.
Manager Arne Slot also made a big call before kick-off by dropping Mohamed Salah, following Liverpool’s 4–0 FA Cup loss to Manchester City.
The result puts Liverpool under pressure heading into the second leg at Anfield, with their Champions League hopes now hanging in the balance.
