Actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, has responded to online critics after being called out for repeating a pair of shoes she wore at her wedding reception.
The new mum recently attended an event dressed in a blue outfit and matching blue heels but eagle-eyed followers quickly noticed that the same shoes had made an earlier appearance at her wedding celebration.
Not wasting time, some social media users took to her comment section to question why she would wear the same footwear again, sparking a wave of mixed reactions online.
Reacting to the comments, Priscilla hit back, saying her generation’s obsession with appearances is misplaced.
“My generation girls are living in delusion, thinking I should only wear Jimmy Choos once just because my fanbase is bigger now,” she wrote.

She went on to criticise the unrealistic lifestyle pressures many young women face on social media.
“This exact reason is why many young girls feel pressured by social media to fit an unrealistic standard. ‘I need to be a big girl,’ but often they lack the financial means to support that lifestyle.
“Note: My life will go however I want it to go. As long as my family, friends, and honest fans are happy, every other person’s opinion is just noise.”
Her response has since sparked further discussion online, with many applauding her confidence and sense of self-worth, while others insisted that celebrities should always “keep their looks fresh.”
