Katie Price has confirmed she married businessman Lee Andrews in Dubai just hours after announcing their engagement.
The 47-year-old model revealed her engagement on Friday and, according to reports, tied the knot on Saturday, January 24. The news comes only days after her split from Married at First Sight UK star JJ Slater was confirmed.
Katie told The Sun that her relationship with Lee began online. She described it as “esoteric,” saying they connected by checking each other’s social media profiles before meeting.
“How I met Lee was esoteric, we connected [by] both checking each others’ socials and quickly realised wow this is for me…in the old fashioned way, first by words which captured us both.”
She said the relationship moved fast, with the couple getting matching tattoos and buying rings for each other within days.
“That evolved deeper as we connected further with in days [getting] matching tattoos, and then both deciding to buy rings for the other.”

Photos published by The Sun show the couple dressed in white during the ceremony. Katie wore a white dress, while Lee wore white trousers and a beige linen shirt. The pair were pictured smiling and sharing a kiss after the ceremony.
Katie’s family are reportedly worried about how quickly the relationship has progressed. A family source told The Sun:
“It is moving very fast and they are concerned about Kate’s frame of mind. No one knows who Lee really is and whether he is any good for her.”
Katie’s wedding follows her split from JJ Slater, which she confirmed on her podcast. She said she ended the relationship to avoid repeating past mistakes.
“I don’t wanna waste my time… these are mistakes I’ve made in the past… So I’d rather have nipped it in the bud sooner rather than later.”
Friends of Katie’s ex-husband Peter Andre also criticised the timing of her engagement. A source told the Daily Mail:
“Katie can’t be without a man, she craves male attention and will do anything she can to keep herself in the headlines.”
