Igor Thiago made Premier League history on Saturday.
The Brentford striker scored twice but could not prevent his side from being held to a 2-2 draw by Everton at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Despite the result, Thiago set a new club record for most goals in a single Premier League season, taking his tally to 21.
Brentford started strongly and were awarded an early penalty after Kevin Schade was fouled by Jordan Pickford inside the box. Thiago stepped up and calmly scored to give the hosts the lead.
Everton fought back before half-time when Beto headed in from an Idrissa Gueye cross to make it 1-1.
Both teams had chances in an open first half, with Pickford making key saves to keep Everton level.

Brentford pushed again after the break and struck the woodwork twice as they searched for a second goal.
The Bees went back in front in the 76th minute. Michael Kayode’s run into the box ended with a deflected effort that went in off Thiago to make it 2-1.
But Everton equalised late on. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall reacted fastest inside the box and fired home in stoppage time to rescue a point.
Brentford head coach Keith Andrews said after the game: “We’re disappointed we haven’t won the game”
Thiago’s brace ensured a record-breaking day, even though Brentford were left frustrated by the late equaliser.
