Nigerian influencer Blessing CEO has returned to Instagram after weeks of deactivating her account.
On her return, she deleted all posts linked to her earlier claim of battling stage four breast cancer.
Only a single post promoting breast self-examination remains on her page.
The controversy started in January when she announced she had been diagnosed with stage four breast cancer and asked for public financial support. She also shared a medical document to support her claim.
However, Xinus Medical Diagnostics disputed the report. The centre said the document had been altered and claimed the original report belonged to Deborah Mbara and was issued in May 2025.
Mbara, a makeup artist and cancer survivor, later accused Blessing CEO of using her medical records without permission.
“I was even telling her that God saw me through this, see the scar, it has all gone… only for me to see on social media that it was the result I gave her that she doctored,” she said.

Following the allegation, Mbara’s family reportedly petitioned the EFCC over claims of forgery, cyberbullying, and a fundraising scheme said to have raised over N300 million.
The Nigerian Cancer Society also called for an investigation into the matter.
Blessing CEO had earlier deactivated her account amid the backlash but later returned to Instagram.
In a video after her return, she insisted she did not lie about her health condition.
“I never lied about my health issues. No, I didn’t,” she said.
She also said she was willing to refund donations.
“The drama, please refund our money. I am willing to refund well-meaning Nigerians,” she added.
She has since shared proof of some refunds and posted clips of herself undergoing medical scans, including an MRI.
