NMA alleges Blessing CEO defrauded Nigerians using a fake cancer report, sparking outrage online and calls for possible legal action as she remains silent on the claims.

NMA alleges Blessing CEO defrauded Nigerians, used fake medical reports

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has accused social media personality Blessing CEO of misleading Nigerians by allegedly using a falsified medical report to solicit public sympathy and financial support.

In a statement, the association claimed the breast cancer report circulated by Blessing CEO did not belong to her but to another individual identified as Mbara Deborah. The NMA alleged that she “fraudulently forged this document to deceive the public for money.”

The development has triggered strong reactions online, with many Nigerians questioning the legal implications of the claim.

Reacting, a user, @chi_simdiri, asked, “After this expose, what next? Will she be legally prosecuted?”

Another user, @0mobola0duntan, wrote, “Everyday for the thieve, one day for the owner,” suggesting that consequences were inevitable.

However, not all reactions were directed solely at Blessing CEO. A user, @SheikhAnalo, argued, “I actually do not blame her rather I blame Nigerians who always function from a place of emotions instead of logics.”

Some commenters also highlighted the wider impact of the alleged act. “The saddest part is the emotional damage this kind of deceit does. Nigerians genuinely donated out of compassion. This is how real patients lose public trust,” @obhiglo said.

Meanwhile, @JagabanofJos called for legal action, stating, “This lady should be behind bars please.”

Blessing CEO has yet to respond publicly to the allegations as of the time of filing this report.
