Why I avoid complaining about fame – Don Jazzy

Ace music producer and Mavin Records boss, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has shared why he is careful about speaking negatively on fame and success.

Speaking in a recent episode of the Keeping It Real With Jima podcast, the music executive said he tries not to complain about the challenges that come with being famous, out of concern that it could be interpreted as ingratitude.

According to him, while fame and success come with certain uncomfortable moments, he prefers to remain grateful rather than focus on what he wishes were different.

He said: “I like everything that God gave me. Obviously, there are sometimes that you just wish that somethings were different. But I’m not wishing for anything different, I’m just saying before God will now decide to adjust my life [laughs].”

Don Jazzy explained that although he occasionally reflects on aspects of his life he would want changed, he avoids dwelling on them or expressing dissatisfaction.

The Mavin Records founder also noted that if he had another chance at life, he would want to be even wealthier, adding that his motivation is to impact more lives, though he feels financially limited in that regard.
