Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has alleged that Pastor Chris Okafor attempted to silence her by sending her $10,000 in cash amid an ongoing legal dispute between them.
The actress, who has been in the news in recent weeks, is suing the clergyman for ₦1 billion over an alleged breach of a promise to marry her. Doris previously claimed that she left her former marriage at the insistence of the pastor.
According to her, the alleged breach resulted in emotional distress, reputational damage and the unauthorised release of her private photographs.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Doris Ogala displayed bundles of $100 bills, claiming that the money was sent to her by Pastor Okafor while he was pleading with her.
She further alleged that the pastor wanted her to go online and claim she was sponsored by other pastors to attack him.
Her post also included screenshots of what she described as an alleged chat between her and the clergyman. Doris stated that she deliberately accepted the money to support her claims.
Sharing the video of the $10,000 cash, the actress wrote: “I will not cover evil anymore. I will expose every evil. My brother must get justice.”
Meanwhile, social media critic VeryDarkMan had earlier released an audio recording said to be that of Pastor Chris Okafor’s alleged daughter, Precious, explaining why she left his home in 2020.
In the viral recording, Precious alleged that she was treated unfairly compared to her siblings. She further claimed that she is her mother’s only child, while the other four children are from a different woman.
As of the time of filing this report, Pastor Chris Okafor has not publicly responded to the latest allegations.
