The United States military launched no fewer than 12 Tomahawk missiles against terrorist targets in Sokoto State on December 25, the lawmaker representing Virginia’s Second District in Congress, Riley M. Moore, has confirmed.
Recall that the airstrikes took place on Christmas night as part of a joint operation between the US and Nigerian military forces targeting terrorist elements in the state.

Some security analysts claimed on Friday that the strikes had little impact on the intended targets, suggesting that several missiles hit uninhabited areas, including farms with no history of terrorist hideouts.
However, later reports indicated that several terrorists were killed during the operations.
Speaking to Fox News, Moore said, “This year, thanks to President Trump, Radical Islamic Terrorists were on the receiving end of 12 Tomahawk missiles as a present.
The successful strikes on ISIS, in coordination with the Nigerian government, is just the first step to secure the country and end the slaughter of our brothers and sisters in Christ.”
