A young Nigerian woman has stirred reactions on social media after claiming she was left stranded in Lagos by a man she travelled from Ibadan to visit.
The incident gained attention on Monday after she shared her experience online, explaining that she had embarked on the trip with high expectations, only for the meeting to take an unexpected turn.
According to her, the man allegedly rejected her upon seeing her in person, telling her she did not meet his expectations and asking her to return home.

“I came all the way from Ibadan to Lagos to see him, but when I got there, he said I should go back because I look like a grandma. Now he has blocked me everywhere and I don’t even have money to go back home. Please, I need help,” she said.
She added that the man subsequently blocked her across all communication platforms, leaving her stranded without funds to return home.
The development has sparked mixed reactions online, with some users expressing sympathy and offering assistance, while others criticised her decision to travel without proper planning or a backup plan.
