The father of Big Brother Naija star Angel Smith, Baron Meyagy, has expressed support for his daughter following reports of a breakdown in her marriage to her partner, Tunmininu.

His reaction follows ongoing online discussions sparked by a viral video said to show Angel being arrested in the United States, raising concerns about her situation and relationship.

Baron Meyagy took to Instagram to share a short message, assuring his daughter of his support despite the circumstances.

Angel Smith father wrote, “Family stands by each other as a unit, irrespective of the circumstance. In the end, she’s FATHER’S DAUGHTER. I gotcha U Mummy.”

She also made several demands, including the return of $40,000, the signing of annulment documents, and an additional $8,000 for emotional damages. She further requested a formal agreement to release her from any future immigration or financial responsibilities related to Angel.
