The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said 2026 will bring positive changes to Nigeria’s economy, including reduced hunger, a return of Nigerians from abroad, and growth in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) sector.
Adeboye made the declaration during the church’s 2025/2026 Crossover Service held at Redemption City, Ogun State, between December 31, 2025, and January 1, 2026.
The prophecies were formally read out on Thursday morning during the service, which had thousands of worshippers in attendance at the camp.
According to the cleric, Nigeria will experience a gradual easing of economic hardship in 2026, particularly in food scarcity, which many citizens struggled with in the outgoing year.

Adeboye said God revealed to him that hunger would reduce as SMEs begin to thrive across the country.
“There will be a reduction in hunger in Nigeria this year. God says Small and Medium Enterprises will begin to blossom,” he Prophesied.
He also spoke about what he described as a “reverse Japa,” saying Nigerians who left the country in search of better opportunities abroad would begin to return home.
“He says something that I can only put down as a reverse Japa,” Adeboye stated, adding that “Many people who have Japa will come back home.”
The RCCG leader described 2026 as a better year than 2025, saying the “wind” that started blowing in 2024 would intensify.
“2026 will be more remarkable than 2025,” he said, noting that there would be “more opportunities this year than last year, more successes and more victories, with less failures.”
