Real Madrid are reportedly considering a €100 million bid for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen if Vinicius Jr. chooses not to renew his contract.
Vinicius, a key player in Real’s 2023/2024 Champions League win, has struggled for consistent game time under new coach Xabi Alonso, while Kylian Mbappé has started every match this season. This has reportedly strained his relationship with the club, leaving Madrid to explore alternatives.
Osimhen has been in outstanding form for Galatasaray, scoring 46 goals and providing seven assists in 53 appearances since moving from Napoli. Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk praised him, saying:

“Alongside his goalscoring prowess, Osimhen is an important team player, an elite player. We had said that we could discuss €75 million being low at the start of the season. In Europe, 100 million more is paid for players of this type.”
Real Madrid views Osimhen as a strategic solution to strengthen their attack and allow Mbappé to return to his preferred left-wing role, though convincing the Nigerian striker to leave Galatasaray could be a key challenge.
