Disc jockey and billionaire heiress, Cuppy Otedola, has described the wedding of her sister, Temi Otedola, to Afropop singer, Mr Eazi, as “the wedding of the century.”
Cuppy, who shared photos from the ceremony on Instagram and X, praised the occasion as subtle, intimate, and effortlessly elegant.
“My sister Temi Otedola had THE wedding of the century… subtle, intimate, and effortlessly elegant. #LoveIsEazi was pure magic from start to finish. Anyone there couldn’t help but feel inspired. Argue with your group chat,” she wrote.
The couple, who announced their engagement in April 2022, tied the knot this year in a series of celebrations held across three countries. Their first ceremony, a civil wedding in Monaco on May 9, was deliberately set to coincide with the birthday of Mr Eazi’s late mother. This was followed by a traditional Yoruba wedding in Dubai, hosted at the Otedola family home, where music, food, and cultural displays highlighted their Nigerian heritage.
The final leg of the celebrations took place in August in Iceland, where the couple exchanged vows in a small, picturesque church surrounded by close family and friends.
Reflecting on the experience, Mr Eazi said the multi-country wedding has inspired him creatively, adding that he intends to produce more love songs, particularly stripped-back acoustic tracks suitable for weddings.
Temi, a fashion entrepreneur and actress, also marked the occasion by announcing her new surname on social media, sharing photographs from the Iceland ceremony to confirm her transition to Mrs. Oluwatosin Ajibade.
