Nollywood actress and politician’s wife, Regina Daniels, has finally spoken about her marriage to billionaire businessman and lawmaker, Prince Ned Nwoko, addressing years of public criticism and rumours about their union.
In a message shared on social media, Regina appealed to the public to stop attacking her mother. She said she had endured hurtful comments suggesting she married Nwoko for money.
“I tried to be silent on this but I can’t any longer. You guys should stop saying I got married to Ned Nwoko because of his money that’s wrong,” she said. “We were financially stable. Please stop insult!ng my mom. She warned me, but it’s me. I’m so ashamed to say I fell in love. I was going to kpai myself if I didn’t marry Ned.”
The actress, who has two sons with Nwoko, said the constant judgment from the public has affected her and her family deeply.

“What amount can a man give a mother for a child already providing everything at home?” she asked, adding that her mother never pushed her into the marriage for money.
Regina also directed a message to her estranged husband, hinting at issues between them.
“Stop insult!ng my mum. My dear ex-husband, Ned Nwoko, I will f!ght for my boys, train them with or without you.”
Although she didn’t share details about their current situation, her post suggests that things may no longer be smooth between her and the Delta-born politician.
The couple, who married in 2019, have often drawn public attention because of their age gap and Nwoko’s polygamous lifestyle.
