Jannik Sinner captured his second consecutive ATP Finals title on Sunday, defeating world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz 7–6(4), 7–5 in Turin. The Italian’s composed performance under pressure earned him a week-long undefeated run and a roaring reception from the home crowd.
“Winning here again means a lot. The support from the fans was incredible, and I’m proud of how I stayed focused throughout the week,” Sinner said after the match.
Alcaraz, who struggled with a thigh injury sustained during a late semifinal the previous day, showed flashes of brilliance, including a delicate drop shot that nearly turned the first set. “It was tough physically, but I tried to give my best. Sinner played an amazing match,” Alcaraz acknowledged.

The first set went to a tiebreak, where Sinner’s precision serving and mental calm proved decisive. In the second set, Alcaraz broke serve for the first time in the tournament, but Sinner quickly regained control with smart shot selection and solid defense, ultimately closing out the match on his first match point.
With this win, Sinner reinforces his status as one of the sport’s rising stars and a contender for major titles in 2026. Alcaraz, meanwhile, shifts focus to the Davis Cup, aiming to recover fully and finish the season strongly.
