The rapper is also expected to perform in his hometown of Fayetteville on Sept. 23, according to Live Nation, though organisers said ticket details for that show will be announced later.

The tour follows the release of The Fall-Off, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Cole has often spoken about his love for North Carolina. During Dreamville Festival last year, he told fans: “We want to put on some amazing [expletive] for y’all, we want to do it for Carolina.”

City manager Marchell Adams-David also confirmed that Cole will remain involved in future Dreamville-related events.

“He is totally committed to this community, and he is totally committed to this festival,” she said.
