Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has threatened legal action against her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, and others who accused her of taking hard drugs, after presenting laboratory results showing she tested negative.
In a video shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday, the actress displayed medical test results from a California hospital, confirming she was not on hard drugs.
She said the move was necessary to protect her image, her career and her children, describing the allegations as damaging and unfair. The development is now shaping what many describe as the Regina Daniels lawsuit move.
“It’s a new year, and there are certain narratives I will no longer allow to linger over my name as a public figure. I am grateful for those who believe in me, and I will always defend my integrity. I was never on any hard drugs or any of the nonsense fabricated online,” she said.
Regina, who earlier visited a California hospital for a drug test, vowed to seek legal redress at the appropriate time, insisting that she would not allow her name to be tarnished.
She maintained that her action was not only to clear her name, but also to ensure her children grow up knowing she was never a drug addict, stressing that the Regina Daniels lawsuit would be pursued if necessary.
The clarification comes nearly three months after Senator Ned Nwoko publicly accused her of drug use, a claim she has now strongly debunked with medical proof.
Regina Daniels reaffirmed that she was ready to take legal steps to address the matter, noting that defamation should not be ignored, further highlighting the seriousness of the Regina Daniels lawsuit threat.
