Veteran Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has welcomed a baby boy with his wife, Natasha Osawaru, an Edo State lawmaker.
Osawaru confirmed the news in a brief statement shared on her official Facebook page, where she announced that the couple had been “blessed with a baby boy.” Her post immediately sparked widespread congratulations across social media.

Rumours about the baby’s arrival had intensified earlier on Friday after Osawaru was spotted at a hospital, fueling speculation that she had gone into labour.
The newborn marks the couple’s first child together and adds a new chapter to their high-profile relationship. 2Baba and Osawaru formalised their union in early 2025 after the singer’s separation from his longtime wife, Annie Idibia, in January.
Their romance had gained public attention long before then. 2Baba proposed to Osawaru in February 2024, and by July 2025, they held a private traditional wedding ceremony in Abuja attended by close family members.
Though this is their first child as a couple, the new arrival brings the singer’s total number of children to eight—solidifying once again why many fans jokingly refer to him as “father of many nation.”
