Security operatives have blocked the government house in Ado-Ekiti, capital of Ekiti state.
This created tension among residents of the area who scuttled to safety.
The armed operatives fired gunshots into the air and released teargas.
The development comes 48 hours to the governorship election.

However, the Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has confirmed that there is heavy shooting now going on in front of Ekiti Govt house.
