Nigerians have slammed the Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, as he issued no movement order in the state during the APC campaign rally.
Fayose disclosed on his Twitter handle that thugs invaded the State from Kogi, Ondo and Edo States.
Read below:
I commend the people of Ekiti for complying with our sit-at-home directive. I urge our people to remain indoors for their safety as thugs have invaded the State from Kogi, Ondo and Edo States for the APC campaign rally.
Stay alive for July 14.
Ekiti people will be victorious.

However, some Nigerians on Twitter perceived this order as a means of distorting the APC campaign rally. See their comments below:
Really? He made the declaration of no movement to deter people from going to the rally..

You shamelessly asked commercial vehicle owners not to come out and work so that they wouldn’t transport people to witness APC mega rally, you offered to give them N10,000 each all in your desperate bid to win elections. U can continue to play God, but His will shall come to past

Some of you are so gullible that you take anything you are been told hook line and sinker. The APC rally is going on in Ado now and the place is jam packed. The market women are also in the market, Okada is also moving freely, that’s the situation of Ado today.

Mr Governor as much as I commend your doggedness it is not democratic for you to order a sit at home for Ekiti people preventing them to meet their President. You should expect right reaction for this action. Then don’t complain.
