Pastor David Ogbueli, Senior Pastor of Dominion City Churches worldwide, recently made headlines when he was captured on video admonishing his instrumentalists for failing to know when to stop playing during a service.
In the video, Pastor Ogbueli reminded his choristers and instrumentalists about the importance of understanding how the hosts of heaven operate.
He said, “You need to see how heaven operates, I’ve been there three times, you don’t see this nonsense.”
He explained that in heaven, worship is orderly, with everyone, including the twenty-four elders, prostrating before God.
The pastor emphasized that even Jesus, seated at the right hand of God, humbles Himself in worship.

Pastor Ogbueli warned the instrumentalists that continued errors would result in a six-month suspension, stressing that they must align their performance with heavenly standards.
The senior pastor’s remarks and guidance highlight his focus on disciplined worship, as he shared personal experiences, saying, “I’ve been to heaven three times, and I know what true reverence looks like.”
The video has since circulated widely online, sparking discussions about church discipline and the role of music in worship.
Pastor Ogbueli concluded by urging the musicians to learn from his heavenly encounters and maintain excellence in their service, reaffirming that “I’ve been to heaven three times, and this is how worship should be conducted.”
