Sunday Igboho to FG: Hand me security agency, I’ll end terrorism

Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has called on the federal government to hand him control of a security agency to lead the fight against Fulani terrorists.

Speaking to his supporters in Ibadan, Oyo State, Igboho vowed to move into forests and communities where the armed groups are believed to be hiding, seize their weapons, and put an end to their attacks.

He stressed that he was ready to stake his life on the mission.

“The government should hand over a security agency to me and see if I won’t eradicate the Fulani terrorists. If I don’t finish all of them, tell the government to finish me,” he declared.

His remarks come amid ongoing clashes between herders and farmers, a conflict that has claimed thousands of lives across Nigeria. In June 2025 alone, over 200 people were reported killed in Yelwata community, Benue State.
