
Encomiums have been pouring in for Liverpool’s sensation buy of the season, and Egyptian World Cup qualifier wonder, Mohammed Salah and Nigeria’s and African queen of football, Asisat Oshoala, as they emerged the best footballers in the black continent for 2017.
Salah, who has been almost unplayable in the last 2017 calendar year pipped teammate and Senegalese, Sadio Mane and Gabon and Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, to the top award.
Oshoala won her third consecutive award and continued her beautiful form.
The Pharaohs of Egypt also claimed the best team of the year award after their first qualification to the World Cup.
