Otedola lauds Tinubu’s dedication, says he worked on Easter Sunday

Nigerian businessman Femi Otedola has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for maintaining an active work schedule during the Easter celebration.

Otedola made this known on Monday via a post on X, stating that he met with the president alongside Aliko Dangote on Easter Sunday. He said their meeting focused on economic matters, particularly how current reforms could positively impact Nigerians.

He emphasised that the president’s decision to continue working on a significant public holiday reflects a strong sense of responsibility and leadership.

He wrote, “Yesterday, I spent Easter Sunday with our dear President, Bola Tinubu, and my bestie Aliko Dangote. We discussed the economy and how Nigerians can benefit from the reforms.

“On a day of resurrection and renewal, Mr President was still working. That kind of commitment gives you hope for Nigeria 🇳🇬 … F.Ote💲”

Tinubu had earlier arrived in Lagos State on Sunday evening following a condolence visit to Plateau State after deadly attacks in Jos North Local Government Area.

The presidential aircraft touched down at about 7:20 p.m. at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, where Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other senior officials received him.
