In his characteristic self, he was all out for the jugular of President Muhammadu Buhari stating that he has left the nation worse than he met it.
“I told Nigerians before this president came to power that he is a disaster waiting to happen, but they don’t believe me, now, they are biting their fingers.
“You wait and see what will happen in 2019, there will be surprises. My name is Peter, ‘The Rock’, I’ve witnessed three presidents in my first and second term and I’ve garnered enough experience to run this country well.”
When asked about his reaction to decamping of his brother, Fayose asked, “which brother are you talking about? I don’t know anybody anywhere; the only person that can dump me and I will feel concerned is my wife because I owe her a lot. Not even my children.

“They said I’m not a professor and I have learned my support for my deputy governor; he is a professor. We can’t always use our deputies and dump them. He is qualified for the jump and I have me unreserved respect for the other aspirants, if my deputy loses at the primaries, it is not a do or die affair, I’ll support the winner.
“I know all the gimmicks of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and I’m watching them, they shouldn’t bring all those to Ekiti because it will not be an easy ride,” Governor Fayose said.
