Netizens reacted to a resurfaced video of Music icon, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba and his new wife, Natasha Osawaru, saying it shows a shift “from African queen to African tigress,” as discussions about an old UK arrest rumour returned to the timeline.
The video, posted on December 1, 2025, revived talks about the widely circulated claim that 2Baba was arrested in the United Kingdom, a story he had earlier denied.
2Baba, who travelled to the UK for a concert tour in October, had missed a London show on October 2nd. That absence triggered speculation that he had been detained after an argument with Natasha at the airport.
He later uploaded a video on Instagram explaining that he missed the show due to a medical emergency, not an arrest. While the rumour faded, it continued to appear on blogs and social media.
The issue resurfaced after blogger Tosin Silverdam shared what he called new evidence, an online clip he claimed shows 2Baba being taken away by police at Gatwick Airport following an altercation with Natasha.
In his caption, he wrote, “Video of Tuface Idibia Being Arrested by the Police in the UK After an Alleged Altercation with His Wife Natasha… and Video of Heated Argument at the Airport. The Video Is Finally Out.”
Screenshots shared by commentators appear to show officers speaking with 2Baba before escorting him out of a store.
Silverdam also posted another clip of the argument and claimed Natasha was “jealous of 2Baba getting all the attention.” He insisted the videos support his earlier statement that “the African Queen crooner was reportedly taken away.”
Once the clip surfaced, it went viral, putting 2Baba at the top of X trends in Nigeria.
