Residents of Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State have been left stunned following reports that a popular gym instructor allegedly impregnated four of his clients, including two married women.
According to community sources, the gym instructor, well-known for his “body goals” and weight-loss programs, reportedly developed close relationships with several female clients during private workout sessions. His charm, confidence, and impressive physique earned him a loyal female following.
The controversy began when rumours surfaced that some of his clients were pregnant. Further findings allegedly confirmed that the trainer was responsible, with two of the women identified as married.
A community eyewitness, who preferred to remain anonymous, said suspicions grew after the instructor was often seen spending extra time with certain clients.

“At first, we thought he was just giving them extra training tips,” the source said. “But when news of the pregnancies broke out, people started connecting the dots.”
Reacting to the scandal, media personality Daddy Freeze threw shade at men who allow their wives or girlfriends to have private sessions with gym instructors.
The story has sparked heated debate both in Ijebu-Ode and online, with many calling for stricter professional boundaries between trainers and clients. While some blame the instructor for exploiting his position, others insist that the women involved must also take responsibility.
Reactions on Social Media
Social media users have shared mixed opinions over the development.

fitzinny commented: “Self discipline is a thing, you should try it! I just can’t relate and mind you I’m a typical gym girlie.”
real_funkymallam said: “The day I complained about the way these gym instructors were grabbing women, they laughed. Now two women are out of their matrimonial homes because of gym instructor.”
honiwoba added: “Many married women use the gym and carry themselves with respect. A disciplined coach can never cross that line. Not with a married woman! It stinks!”
The incident has reignited discussions about discipline, morality, and professionalism within Nigeria’s fast-growing fitness industry.
