Nollywood filmmaker Jade Osiberu has welcomed her first child, Moraraoluwa Jaiyeoba, on August 8, 2025, marking a milestone in her life at 40.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Osiberu described the experience of becoming a mother as life-changing:
“08/08/2025 – My life changed forever. God said in your 40th year, I will complete you. God really does make all things beautiful in his time.”
She added that the journey to motherhood had been both humbling and transformative, saying, “God has shown me so much mercy and favor… To say I feel seen and loved by God would be an understatement… I feel like His favorite child.”

Osiberu also prayed for her daughter’s future:
“May the Lord bless you, may the Lord keep you. May the Lord make you wise, may He show you which way to go and watch over you. May the Lord grant you favour and give you peace. May the Lord be happy with you and may you rest in His love.”
The founder of Greoh Studios, Osiberu has significantly impacted Nollywood, directing and producing acclaimed projects including Isoken, Brotherhood, and Gangs of Lagos.
