The family of singer Ifunanya Nwangene, known professionally as Nanyah, has announced her burial arrangements following her death.
Nanyah, 26, died on January 31, 2026, after she was bitten by a snake at her home in Abuja. She was taken to a hospital, where she later passed away.
Her brother, Kingsley Nwangene, shared the obituary and burial details on Instagram via his handle, @official_kaybaba1. He also posted a tribute captioned, “Till I see you again.” The post drew messages of condolence from fans, friends, and colleagues in the music industry.

According to the announcement, a service of songs will be held on February 10, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Abule Oshun, Dansa, Lagos, beginning at 4 p.m. A requiem mass will take place at the same venue by 6 p.m.
Nanyah will be buried in her hometown in Enugu on February 14, 2026. A thanksgiving service in her honour is scheduled for February 15, 2026.
