Ten days after being implanted in his rectum by his pals as part of a drunken prank, a man had to have the steel cup removed.
The cup, which had a diameter of 3 to 4 inches (8 cm) and a length of 6 inches (15 cm), was medically removed at a nearby hospital.
The 45-year-old man, who is from Balipadar, India, was having a good time drinking with his buddies in Gujarat, an area of India where it is unlawful to consume alcohol.
According to accounts, the victim’s companions said they played a “prank” on him by putting the cup up his butthole while he was “in an inebriated state.”

For fear of looking foolish, the man delayed reporting the occurrence.
Local media reported that as soon as his family learned, they immediately transported him to the hospital.
The cup was discovered to be caught in the intestine, according to an X-Ray taken at the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur City.
According to NDTV India, the man’s stomach began to bulge after 10 days because he hadn’t defecated since the incident, at which point the cup was removed.
The size of the cup forced the physicians to resort to surgery after their initial attempt to remove it through the rectum failed.
To get get it out, medical professionals had to cut into the intestine. On Friday, August 19, the treatment was completed in a total time of about 2.5 hours.
The individual is recovering from the operation, and his health is reportedly stable.
He will be under surveillance in the hospital for a further 4-5 days.
