The social media was thrown into confusion as pictures of River State Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Andrew Kumapayi, cutting hairs of trendy female officers went viral.
Mr Andrew went on a routine inspection where he examined finger nails, uniforms, hairdo among other things of officers under his command.
Human rights analysts have however disagreed on the need to cut hairs of some of the officers who were seen as too fashionable.
