Catholic school abduction: we must save our brothers, sisters in Christ — Riley Moore

 

At least 215 children and 12 teachers were kidnapped from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Nigeria, in a shocking incident that has drawn international attention.

 

Reacting to the tragedy, U.S. Congressman Riley Moore described the situation as “beyond horrific,” stressing that vague statements from the Nigerian government are no longer enough. He called for urgent action, saying, “We must do everything we can to save our brothers and sisters in Christ.”

The abduction has sparked outrage locally and globally, highlighting the pressing need for stronger security measures to protect schools and communities across Nigeria.

 

The incident comes just days after a Nigerian delegation, led by former EFCC Chairman Nuhu Ribadu, visited Congressman Moore in the United States to discuss strategies for tackling insecurity in the country, underscoring the urgency of implementing effective security measures.
