Arsenal 4-1 win over Tottenham

Arsenal silence mockers with 4–1 win over Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal produced a commanding display in the north London derby on Sunday, defeating Tottenham Hotspur 4–1 to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table to five points. The result, described by many fans as an Arsenal 4-1 win over Tottenham, reinforced the Gunners’ title credentials and ended recent taunts from rivals.

Eberechi Eze opened the scoring with a fine volley before Tottenham responded through Randal Kolo Muani, who quickly brought Spurs back into the contest. However, Arsenal regained control after the break as Viktor Gyokeres netted twice, including a late injury-time finish to seal the emphatic victory.

Eze added his second of the match after reacting quickest to Bukayo Saka’s rebound, completing a memorable afternoon for the home side. Gyokeres was named man of the match after recording two goals and an assist, while Eze continued his impressive run against Spurs, taking his tally to five goals in two derby meetings this season.

Speaking after the match, manager Mikel Arteta praised his players’ intensity and dominance. “We controlled the game, created chances and showed what we are capable of,” he said following the Arsenal 4-1 win over Tottenham.

Tottenham showed brief signs of a comeback, but their efforts were halted by a crucial late save from goalkeeper David Raya, which denied them a chance to set up a tense finish.

The victory represents Arsenal’s fifth straight derby success under Arteta,  their best run since the 1980s, and keeps their title hopes firmly on track. With confidence high and momentum building, the Arsenal 4-1 win over Tottenham may prove to be a defining moment in their season.
