Gunmen suspected to be members of the Eastern Security Network of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Sunday attacked Saint Andrews Anglican Church, Isiokwe in Lilu community, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.
According to Diaspora Digital Media, it was gathered that the attackers killed the wife of the church priest and set his house on fire. Vehicles belonging to the church and other properties were also burnt during the raid.

As of the time of filing this report, police authorities in Anambra are yet to release an official statement on the incident.
