Aiden Ross has won Season 28 of NBC’s The Voice. The 20-year-old Texas A&M student earned the top spot after performing for viewers during the show’s two-night finale.
The final six contestants included Aubrey Nicole (Team Reba McEntire), Jazz McKenzie (Team Michael Bublé), Ralph Edwards (Team Snoop Dogg), Aiden Ross (Team Niall Horan), DEK of Hearts (Team Niall), and 14-year-old Max Chambers (Team Michael Bublé). Each finalist performed two songs, one classic and one contemporary, as fans voted for their favourite.
Coach Niall Horan did not perform due to illness. Ross instead performed with Season 23 winner Gina Miles, while DEK of Hearts teamed with Reba McEntire. The finale also featured guest performances from Zac Brown and Noah Cyrus, Japanese pop group XG, Khalid, Riley Green, and former Season 26 winner Sofronio Vasquez III.

Ross, who earned a four-chair turn with his blind audition of Adele’s Love in the Dark, said winning the show has strengthened his confidence to pursue music. “I’m ready to give music my everything,” he said. His debut single, Everything and More, has already been streamed over 140,000 times on Spotify.
Ralph Edwards finished second, DEK of Hearts came third, Aubrey Nicole placed fourth, Max Chambers fifth, and Jazz McKenzie was sixth. The win gives coach Niall Horan his third victory on The Voice, following previous wins with Gina Miles and Huntley.
Aiden Ross now joins the list of champions in the long-running series, continuing the show’s legacy on NBC.
