Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has placed a bet of N71 million on the Super Eagles of Nigeria to win their AFCON 2025 semi-final match against Morocco.
The match takes place today, January 14, 2025, at 9 pm at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.
Nigeria has maintained strong performance since the start of AFCON 2025, winning all their matches and recording the highest number of goals in the tournament so far.
Davido placed the bet through Stake, staking $50,000 (about N71 million) on the Super Eagles. He shared a receipt of the bet on Instagram to confirm it.

The bet carries six odds and is “over 1.5,” meaning he backed Nigeria to win, both teams to score, and the match to produce more than one goal, such as a 2-1 scoreline in favour of the Super Eagles.
If the prediction is correct, Davido stands to win $348,274.07, which is about N495 million.
The winner of the Nigeria vs Morocco semi-final encounter will face either Egypt or Senegal in the final.
