Pastor Abel Damina, founder of Abel Damina Ministries International, has strongly criticised fellow cleric Pastor Korede Komaiya, accusing him of prioritising wealth over spiritual growth.
In a video circulating on social media, he said Komaiya and others like him are obsessed with money and quick to defend their wealth. He said, “You know these money monger , they are at it again , you know the heat just started again,they won’t even allow the heat to settle. You’re talking like that because you’re still fighting your poverty.
I will never follow a poor pastor, see your face , he said criticise me , that’s why I’m criticising your right now.” Damina added that Komaiya promotes greed and materialism while ignoring the true gospel, which values godliness and contentment.

“You’re a money monger , you’re a money monger , you’re a promoter of greed , avaris , a promoter of materialism , a promoter of lack of contentment, you’re against the gospel of christ because the trye gospel is godliness with contentment, that’s a great gain cos it’s certain we brought nothing into this world and it’s certain we would take nothing out of this world.”
He further criticised Komaiya for focusing on the wealthy and distancing himself from the poor, warning that this approach misleads worshippers and encourages shallow spirituality.
