Manchester City claimed all three points at Stamford Bridge with a 3-0 win over Chelsea, closing the gap on Arsenal to six points.
After a slow first half, City stepped up after the break and took control of the game.
Rayan Cherki set up the opener in the 51st minute, crossing for Nico O’Reilly to head in. He then assisted Marc Guéhi minutes later, who finished calmly.
Chelsea’s night got worse when Moisés Caicedo lost the ball in his own half, allowing Jérémy Doku to score the third.
Chelsea had earlier chances, with Marc Cucurella denied by offside and Pedro Neto stopped, but they could not recover.

City boss Pep Guardiola said the next game could be key.
“Arsenal is a final,” he said. “They have been the best team… beating them once is so difficult.”
On the second-half display, he added: “The second half was extraordinary because we had the mindset. It wasn’t tactics.”
The win keeps City in the title race, while Chelsea’s poor run continues under Liam Rosenior.
