Controversial Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has been ranked as the most popular political party leader in the United Kingdom, according to a new opinion poll.
The survey by More in Common, reported by the Daily Mail, gave her a net approval rating of minus nine. This marks a strong improvement from minus 32 recorded before her party’s conference in October last year.
She ranked ahead of Nigel Farage, who scored minus 16, and Ed Davey, who had minus 11.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer recorded the lowest rating at minus 42.
UK Director of More in Common, Luke Tryl, said Badenoch’s growing visibility is driving her rise.

“Whereas last summer we’d run whole focus groups where no one would know who Kemi was, she is often now brought up spontaneously, and even some of those who would never vote Tory say they admire her conviction and straightforwardness,” he told The Sunday Times.
Despite her improved personal rating, the poll shows the Conservative Party has not gained similar support.
Analysts say her strong appearances in recent political debates have boosted her profile, even as wider voter support remains uncertain.
