Tammy Abraham has joined Aston Villa in a £18.25m move from Turkish side Besiktas, completing his return to the Premier League.
The England striker has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with Unai Emery’s side, nearly five years after leaving Chelsea.
Abraham previously played for Villa during the 2018–19 season, scoring 26 goals in 40 appearances and helping the club gain promotion from the Championship.
The 28-year-old had been on loan at Besiktas from Roma. The Turkish club activated an £11m purchase option before selling him on to Villa for a total fee of €21m (£18.25m).

“Some clubs play a big part in your journey and stay with you,” Abraham said.
“I’m back at Aston Villa, ready to work and give everything.”
Villa manager Unai Emery has been keen to add depth in attack to support Ollie Watkins, with Abraham a long-term target following his earlier success at the club.
Teenage midfielder Yasin Özcan, who has spent this season on loan at Anderlecht, will join Besiktas as part of the deal.
Abraham scored 12 goals in 24 games for Besiktas and could make his second Villa debut against Brentford on Sunday. He is not eligible to play in Thursday’s Europa League match against Red Bull Salzburg.
Villa are third in the Premier League table, four points behind leaders Arsenal, after their 2–0 win over Newcastle.
