Destiny Boy: Father cries out over son’s missing SUV after death (Video)

The father of late Afrofuji singer Afeez Adeshina, popularly known as Destiny Boy, has asked the public for help after his son’s SUV reportedly went missing just days following the singer’s death.

In a viral video, the singer’s father raised concerns about the whereabouts of the SUV. He said the vehicle was returned to the dealership shortly after Destiny Boy’s death, but its current location is unknown.

He explained that the SUV was purchased from Lycon Autos and that he accompanied his son for the purchase. On the day it was bought, the dealership assigned a driver to deliver the vehicle to their home.

According to him, Destiny Boy later used the same driver for personal errands. The situation reportedly changed when the driver claimed the singer owed him money and returned the SUV to the dealership without notifying the family.

“Nigerians, please help me,” he pleaded. “My son has a car, and the car is with Lycon Autos. Although the car is not new, it is an SUV jeep. We went together to buy it. Lycon Autos assigned a driver for him that day to bring the car home.

“Later, Destiny started using the driver personally. The driver said Destiny was owing him, so he took the car back to where we bought it from. I don’t even have the driver’s number. If the car were here, I would have gone to pick it up.”

Destiny Boy passed away on Sunday, January 18. His mother later revealed that he had been battling epilepsy.
