The series finale of Netflix’s hit show Stranger Things will arrive on New Year’s Eve. The final episode, called “The Rightside Up,” premieres on Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT). Fans will not have to wait until midnight to watch it.
Netflix released episodes five, six, and seven on Christmas Day. These episodes continue the story from the first four, which premiered on Nov. 26. The new episodes lead directly into the final chapter of the series.
For the first time, the finale will be available both on Netflix and in more than 350 theaters across the United States and Canada. The Duffer Brothers, creators of the show, said the finale runs about two hours and eight minutes. Theatrical screenings will continue through Jan. 1, 2026.
