Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, the Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, has reportedly passed away.
Sources said he died on Thursday at an undisclosed hospital at the age of 60.
As of the time this report was filed, the Bayelsa State Government and his family had not made any official statement on the circumstances surrounding his death.

Recall that the deputy governor collapsed on Thursday and was taken to the hospital.
Ewhrudjakpo, born on September 5, 1965, was a former federal lawmaker and had been serving as the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State since 2020.
