2Baba and Natasha

VIDEO: ‘I’m not going to keep quiet anymore’, 2baba breaks silence amid marital crisis

Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has spoken again about the ongoing issues in his marriage to Natasha Osawaru, raising alarm over the direction the situation is taking.

In a new video shared online, the 50-year-old said the controversy around their relationship, and the involvement of family and friends, has escalated beyond control. According to him, staying silent is no longer an option, especially now that his wife has started receiving death threats from fans.

In the video, 2Baba said, “This whole situation has gotten dangerously out of hand, and I can’t keep quiet anymore. I’m grown and have the right to do what I want. My family, who claimed they wanted to save me, have actually destroyed me and damaged Natasha’s character. She is getting death threats. This is unfair. My family did the same thing with Annie.”

Meanwhile 2Baba had earlier reported that the singer previously released a video explaining that the viral “Help me” message on his page was not posted by him. He also stressed that his family’s actions, which were presented as support, have instead intensified the tension and exposed Natasha to online bullying and threats.

His latest statement comes amid a wave of viral posts, livestreams, and social media debates about the couple’s relationship, with many fans, friends, and colleagues publicly sharing their opinions.
