Music legend 2Baba has finally broken his silence amid growing speculation surrounding his marriage to Edo State lawmaker Hon. Natasha Osawaru Idibia.
In a video circulating online, the singer expressed urgent concern over how far the situation has escalated, warning that narratives being spread on social media could put his wife at risk.
“I am perfectly fine,” he said, urging the public to “calm down” and “cease fire.” He noted that while every family has its issues, the attention on his personal matters has been taken too far.
The singer clarified that he did not post anything alarming online and repeatedly pleaded with fans, friends, and family to stop spreading chaos.

“This is a dangerous situation right now. This is getting out of hand. I know what fans can do, I know what people can do. I am perfectly okay. But this is putting Natasha at risk, and it is not fair on anybody,” he said.
“So I need everybody to calm down. I need everybody to cease fire. We are going to resolve all these issues. People dey get issues for house, no be today. But this is getting out of hand. Please, friends, family, everybody, cease fire. Please, I am perfectly fine. I didn’t put up that post.”
