Gospel singer Tope Alabi has opened up about her past relationship struggles and how a series of heartbreaks eventually led her to find true love.
In a recent interview, the singer revealed that before meeting her husband, she faced several painful experiences that tested her faith and emotional strength.
According to her, four men had walked out of her life at different times, leaving her heartbroken and questioning her worth. But through it all, she said God used those experiences to prepare her for the right person.
> “Four men left me. Each time, it hurt deeply, but I later realised God was saving me from what wasn’t meant for me. When my husband came, I understood why those relationships never worked,” she shared.

Tope Alabi added that the heartbreaks taught her patience, resilience, and the value of divine timing in relationships.
“Sometimes, rejection is God’s redirection. What you think is a setback might just be the path to your blessing,” she said.
Today, the gospel star says she’s grateful for every disappointment that led her to her husband, describing their union as one built on faith and genuine love.
