A physically challenged vendor has been arrested after confessing to an online scam involving identity theft and catfishing.

The suspect, identified as Timi, admitted to using the photographs of a young woman to deceive unsuspecting men on TikTok, Instagram, and WhatsApp. According to the victim, he also circulated nude images, allegedly sourced from Google , while impersonating her in order to extort money from his targets.
The lady, whose images were misused, disclosed the scheme in a video that has since gone viral on Instagram, drawing widespread condemnation. Social media users expressed shock and outrage over the fraudulent activity, while others called for stronger measures to curb cybercrime on digital platforms.
