The Confederation of African Football, CAF, on Thursday, appointed Nigerian Football Federation’s President, Amaju Pinnick, as the new Vice President of the body.
Pinnick will replace Ghanaian Football Federation President, Kwesi Nyantaki, who stepped down after corruption allegations last month.

This comes despite the controversy surrounding a ruling by Federal High Court sitting in Jos, the Plateau State capital, ordering the takeover of the NFF by Ambassador Giwa.
Giwa had earlier been banned from all football-related matters by both FIFA and CAF.
